10th Gymnasium of Heraklion
Reconstruction of the school sports area: from a worn surface with standing water to a modern, safe court.
At the 10th Gymnasium of Heraklion we rebuilt the school's outdoor sports area. The initial condition was worn, with a damaged surface and water pooling after rain, which made the area difficult and unsafe for students to use.
GeoAtlas Karakatsanis took on the ground shaping and preparation, the correction of gradients for proper water drainage, the construction of the required layers and paving works, and the finishing of the surrounding traffic surfaces.
The final result is a uniform, durable and safe court with clear markings and colored surfaces, ready for everyday use by the school community.
